
Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant
Part-Time – 25 – 30 hours
Position Summary
The New Impact Fund and Redwood Campaign Advisors are seeking a talented Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant with a passion for organization, detail, and process. This person will be a member of our small team and will need to be able to take the initiative to build and maintain long-lasting customer and stakeholder relationships. In addition, they must be willing to take direction and work independently, as tasks vary, and we have a dynamic and fast-moving culture.
The Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant will:
▪ Coordinate and implement all aspects of the New Impact Fund’s programs
▪ Implement a marketing plan, including social media and website presence
▪ Produce and implement project correspondence by preparing externally facing written materials, reports, presentations, memos, emails and meeting minutes
▪ Create and implement repeatable processes, systems, and tools to manage and track stakeholder outreach and program recruitment
▪ Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information
▪ Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored electronically
▪ Provide Alicia with the assistance she needs to make her work life simpler, turnkey, and work to her strengths
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Required:
▪ Outstanding organizational and time management skills: effectively plan, prioritize, and manage workload with the ability to meet deadlines
▪ Excellent verbal and written communications skills
▪ Software frequently used: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Basecamp, Dropbox, Google Forms, Survey Monkey, Eventbrite, and Microsoft Publisher
▪ Email and social marketing experience
▪ Documentation management and ability to use CRM and project management tools
▪ Attention to detail, even under pressure
▪ Can build effective relationships with all stakeholders with professionalism, enthusiasm, and care
▪ High emotional intelligence: can listen well to others, build understanding, and handle challenging situations with grace
▪ Experience working within Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian communities
▪ Discretion and confidentiality
▪ College degree
▪ Preference for 3-4 years of professional work experience
▪ Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for any necessary travel
Pay and Work Schedule
▪ The pay is $25 - $31 an hour with the potential for this role to become a full-time position
▪ This position will be mostly remote, but there will be in-office time, as well
▪ Must reside in the Twin Cities metro area
